Since when is beer non-intoxicating? I was looking up a persons record on the court records for a friend and
he was convicted of "minor in possession of non-intoxicating beverage - beer".
There are non-alcoholic beers (i.e. Amstel Light) & non-alcoholic wines. It is illegal for a minor to purchase or possess either one.

Maybe in some states you have to be 21 to consume O’Douls. But I find that pretty funny.

Because one beer doesn’t necessarily intoxicate you. But that is a bit baffling. I assume if it was hard liquor that would be a different story.

there are several "beers" out there that are non alcoholic like O’Doul’s

Must be a red state.

There are a few non-alcoholic beers (or at least with very low alcohol content), like O’doul’s

Perhaps they meant the minor was not intoxicated. But had the beer, I’ve never heard of such an ordinance.

there’s not a middle point with beer, you drink enough and
you’re very refreshed. You drink more and you’re drunk or
falling down smashed. But never, ever are you intoxicated.

You are aware that you looking someones records up without probable reason is illegal right?
If you are in a position where you have access to court records then you really need to study the U.S. constitution.
